  • Days 1-2 Seattle to Vancouver

Head straight across the border into Canada, where Vancouver boasts outstanding views with its stunning combination of mountains and coastline. Rent rollerblades or take to two wheels to explore Stanley Park, then head over to Prospect Point for the best views in town. For a walk with a difference, check out the stunning Capilano Suspension Bridge, 140 metres long and suspended 70 metres above the river. Later, why not head over to Gastown with its award-winning galleries and tons of cafes and restaurants? Accommodation: Hostel (multi share) included

  • Days 3 Wells Gray Provincial Park

Leave Vancouver and head for Wells Gray Provincial Park; don't be fooled by the fact it doesn't have national park status, this place definitely delivers the goods! Wells Gray is seriously stunning and no Canadian road trip would be complete without a visit. Experience the incredible vistas with high mountains, deep canyons, volcanic cones and old-growth forests. Make the most of the silence and peace before you hike to the thundering Helmcken Falls, a 141 metre waterfall on the Murtle River, one of dozens of stunning waterfalls in the park. Tonight you'll rest your head in an authentic guest ranch where you can get to know your fellow Trekkers beside the roaring campfire, swapping stories and feasting on s'mores! Accommodation: Rustic bunkhouse included (multi-share)

  • Days 4-5 Jasper National Park

Jasper National Park is a sprawling wilderness and the perfect place to get close to nature without the crowds. Make the most of the great mountain biking trails through some of the most spectacular scenery of the Canadian Rockies. The sharp-eyed may spot wildlife roaming the park, from Grizzlies to caribou. Accommodation: Camping included

  • Days 6 Icefields Parkway & Yoho National Park

'Yoho' comes from the Cree word for 'awe' and 'wonder' and as soon as you start hiking through this incredible place you'll soon see why. Negotiate the rapids of the well-named Kicking Horse River which offers some of the best white water rafting in the world. The scenery will continue to impress as you come across Takakkaw Falls, falling from the mountains to the valley below. Emerald Lake is up next and we're pretty sure the glacial hues and forest backdrop will leave you speechless - yes it is that beautiful! Visit the Natural Rock Bridge before heading deeper to explore the park and its varied wildlife. This day is definitely full to bursting with pure awesomeness! Accommodation: Camping included

  • Days 7 Lake Louise

As soon as you lay eyes on Lake Louise you'll have no problem understanding why it was given the nickname, the 'Gem of the Rockies'. The turquoise lake will have you pinching yourself in disbelief that somewhere could be this perfect, but this is no postcard, it's for real! Once you've stopped gaping at the incredible scenery that surrounds you, we suggest taking a hike out to the Plain-of-Six-Glaciers or jumping in a canoe and heading out on to the lake for a different perspective of Lake Louise and her oh so beautiful mountains.
